O IPDD - Polytechnic Institute for Democracy and Development is an independent institution for strategic thinking, applied research and capacity building, dedicated to strengthening the democracy, governance, the rule of law and sustainable development, with a special focus on Cape Verde, Africa and Small States.

The IPDD has already trained more than 1,000 national executives and entrepreneurs;

He has taught 20 short courses in key areas of business and governance;

He has founded/incubated 12 companies in the IDD OFICINA and DNA incubators;

IDD is a consultant in Cape Verde for the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEIA), which collects, summarizes and translates Cape Verdean constitutional jurisprudence;

IPDD is the exclusive provider in Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau of Micro-MBA, a South African program that has been in existence for 26 years and has trained 190,000 people worldwide;

The IPDD has trained special government support staff - advisory and governance ateliers.
